I always catch myself talking in this little baby voice when I talk to Trout...as soon as I get home, I say "Hey Sweety"..but in this babyish voice with kind of a lisp...I am such an idiot


And when I want her to cuddle, I tap my lap and say "come here sweety" in the same ridiculous voice


Do any of you talk like a freak to your cats?

Yup - us too! Even Gary talks in a weird kind of talk-to-baby voice or something, lol! But of course - they ARE our babies!

oh yes - I have a 'just for Villy voice', usually a few octaves higher than my usual voice. I shouldn't tell, but so does my s.o.
Do you have 'pet names' for your cat? I can't tell you Villy's she'd be cross!!

I ask Reilly if he loves his mommy..and when he meows back at me I say "yes you do do" in the silliest baby voice
It works though he rubs around me and chatters!

LOL, we are all a bunch of FREAKS!!! Maybe I am the only freak


Trouts nicknames include: furry baby, furmonger, furry butt, little sweety....etc...and yes I do actually call her each of these names at least once every single day..LOL

Those two white ones of mine just don't listen when I talk to them!


Dorian gives me kisses whenever I talk in my "special" voice to him..it's so sweet!

I do and so does Brian. He walks through the door and I hear, "Why hello kitten. How is Miss Anya? Yessss, give daddy love." He gets down on all fours and head butts with her when he comes through the front door. It's pretty adorable.


It's also pretty funny when I have a girlfriend over or something and he doesn't know it though...
