Hi this is Kathy we have a 5 month old ragdoll kitten that is experiencing swelling and cloudiness in her right eye and we have notice that one pupil looks bigger than the other. The vet told us it could be an eye infection and gave us some drops. The swelling is very tender to touch and seems to come and go. The cat is strickly in door. I was wondering if they could get a plugged tear duct. She is very under the weather. Any advice would be very helpful!

More than likely it's part of an upper respitory infection that includes an eye infection. When something happens to the eye, the third eyelid comes up and covers the eye. It can be very inflamed at times. Keep using the drops for the prescribed amount of time. It's very possible that your kitty was exposed to a virus early on, and will have occasional bouts of it.
