Hey all! I'm Kathleen, the one over in the corner rocking back and forth while muttering to himself is Joel, and the two nutcases running around like their tails are on fire are Athena and Sarai.
We adopted them last year as a birthday present for me, and they're the (second) greatest decision I ever made. They're littermates, both girls, and even though I've had cats my whole life, these two are something else.
Hmm...lets see. They were rescued from a feral colony at 3 wks old, and I adopted at 8 wks. Athena is a short-haired marmalade with white belly, chin, chest and paws, and Sarai is a medium-haired torbie that is filled with fluff.
No, I really mean it. She's fluff. No cat under there, at least not that I can tell.
Oh, there they go again. Rocket-butts.
Anyway, we all live in a nice little apartment in Manhattan, in a lovely quiet neighborhood with neighbors that need to be taken out for training.
As soon as I can get all my photos uploaded, I'll post some so you can see the monsters. They really are stunningly beautiful cats.
Oh, and I've already posted over in the behaviour forum about Sarai's issues with meowing. So if anyone has ideas (keep in mind this is a NYC apartment), they are much welcomed.
