Does anyone know......???

Does anyone know if cats runaway to die? I've been told by a friend they do. My cat, sooty, is very ill and today she is due to go to the vets but she has ran away and my friend told me that cats do tend to runaway when they know they are ready to die. If anyone knows could they please message me or something as i'm worried about my cat as she seemed to be in pain last night and i don't want her to die in pain. Please, if anyone know, message me asap. Thanks

Often yes if they are very ill they will do that.Sending vibes that you find your cat.If you do ,do not let your cat outside again untill she is completely well.

Yes, sometimes they do. Was your baby an insid/outside cat?

I have heard that, but it's usually an outdoor cat that will do that. My childhood cat did that.
