I live in an apartment complex and we have a stray cat that comes around about 4 days a week. I guess she/he gets fed in multiple places. I know personally that I and another neighbor with a cat feed this cat at least a few times a week each. The cat looks healthy but always eats everything I put out. It seems really sweet and I hate to think it has to live outside this winter but I don't know what I can do. My cat is very sweet but does not take to other cats well at all, and frankly I'm having enough issues with mine right now that I can't bring another cat in my apartment to live. I just don't know what to do though.

The single most important thing you can do for this cat is to take it to the vet so that it can be spayed/neutered and brought up to date on shots. Once it has been updated on shots and either spayed or neutered..you can try to find it a new home. I suspect it has places that it goes to sleep at night.

If you need a list of low cost clinics in your state, you can go here:

I would reach out to all the other people who are feeding this cat and try to pull your resources together so that you can get this cat seen by a vet.
