Is it the one that is pictured (sorrel boy still available)?

If so, he's really cute and nice color at a young age.

Not sure on names. I'd take a look at the pedigree and see if anything hits you (or combo of names). Maybe wait till you get him and see his personality.

My DH wants to wait till we get our ocicat to name him, but we kinda like Charlie and I think that's what his name will be. He's a chocolate oci, so its from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

BTW in America we call "sorrel" Ruddy

Yeah! He's the one who is pictured, we met his litter mates also - who were very different to him.

He seemed to like me and my boyfriend, and we just loved him!

We also got to meet Mum and Dad - who were both lovely. His Dad is a little purr-box! I have everything in for him, just going to order some kitty litter - they recommended 'worlds best cat litter' - now I'm just comparing prices online!

I pick him up a week today - he will be 13 weeks then, and will have had his second set of shots too.

I love the name for your future kitty - very apt!

Yay!
He's gorgeous!

When do you get him?

I spent ages thinking of names for Mosi, but didn't decide on one until I got him home and worked out which one suited him best. At first I looked at somali names, him being a somali cat, but I ended up with a swahili name which was close enough!

Urbantigers - I think you are right, we have to wait until he his home to decide on a name for him!

He is so cheeky, and I think is slightly larger than his other litter mates.

He sounds gorgeous. My Mosi was also the biggest and liveliest in the litter. Didn't seem like such a good idea when he was hyper at night, lol, but I wouldn't swap him for a calmer cat.

There are lots of cat name websites around which can be useful for getting ideas (google cat names).

He wasn't the most hyper, there was another boy taking care of that - who seemed to take a shine to me, and wanted to scratch and bite me!!!

When I looked up "chocolate" names here's my list:

Smores
Cocoa Kisses
Fudge
Cocoa Puffs
Macadamia (Mac for short)
Cocoa Bean.

Then I got the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in my head and now keep on referring to the kit as "Charlie". The breeder mainly breeds chocolate and lavendar ocicats - sooooooooooo the chocolate factory....

You might do a search on "Aby" names and see what comes up

Thanks for the suggestion!

Meant to say, when we were at the Breeders house, the little guy was playing with a feather toy, got it and started to growl - it was sooo funny!!!

Well, here I am - sat out in the hall with the new kitty, who has a fascination with the laptop already, and is sitting next to me watching me type!

So far, he has had some dinner, a look around and even used his litter tray.

A very hyper boy indeed!

Oh he's gorgeous. Sounds like he's settling in well. Those first few days are so exciting! I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight
Are you going to allow him in the bedroom?

Well! I sat out in the hall with him for quite some time, then it was dinner time (mines, not his!!!) So, I came into the livingroom, left him in the hall. Just went out to check on him, after about half an hour - and he was sleeping in his bed!!!

We don't want him in the room with us just yet, so are hoping he will settle in the hall overnight....we will see!!!

He is just great though, he has been very well socialised, he is 13 weeks - a brilliant age.

I will be posting pics soon...

I don't know!!!!

I'm thinking it will be something Dutch as his daddy is from Holland.

He is settling in very well indeed, running between the hall and the livingroom!
Caught him out in the hall there, with his paw in the water bowl! (Think he may be a cat who likes water!)

He likes sitting under the rats cage! (And going places he isn't supposed to!)

So far, I've been calling him 'cheeky boy!'

Well, I thought we were going to have a right wee monster on our hands, I had pictured the kitty sitting at the bedroom door, making an awful noise!

We closed the door, and not a peep!
When I got up later, he was in his carrier, sleeping!!! I couldn't believe it!

I notice though, that he has a red mark, and slightly swollen ear tip. I think something may have fallen on him - most likely a video as he was fooling around near the videos and Cds!
