Ok, this is my first post and I need some help. My vet sucks and he can't help me at this time. One of my cats has a wet nose and I read one of my cat health books and it's got nothing on it. The other cat's got a broken toenail. Does anyone know what I can do?

First of all welcome.

Can you please clarify a few things:

1- What exactly you mean by a wet nose? Is it due to a runny nose, cause your kitty licks it or does he/she have it all the time???

2- Please describe broken nail. Was it ripped out of the skin? Was it bleeding?

The nail was bleeding and now there's only a little of the nail left. I think he got into a fight.

The only thing I am concerned about is that the nail was bleeding. Kitties get infections so easily. I would keep it clean and watch for a sign of swelling also check for heat or any other signs of infection-for a little while, anyway. If you see any of the aforementioned signs it is definately time for a trip to the VET!

Good luck!
