Do your cats sleep in a cat bed? - Page 2

All my kits go through spurts where they all sleep in them, then none for a while.

We can have as many as six at night to some nights one or two.

Villy has just started using her igloo again, but usually she absolutely ignores her cat beds. She prefers the human bed, and looks rather put out when we dare take up too much space in it!

My cats sleep wherever they want to - usually in our bed! They take great pains to completely ignore the nice cushy cat beds that they have!

Only once it gets really cold out.

I bought this dog bed from Ikea and the basket it sits in last month. Maui immediately claimed it as his and is not a very nice boy about sharing Now the kits just ignore it really but once in a while I catch them playing in it. Maui doesn't really sleep in it that often but on occasion.

In the evening while we're watching tv, all three will lay on the couch with us and in our laps, or on the floor in front of the couch. At night they sleep with us. I always adjust my position based on where they're at, Chad just gets where he needs to be and we all get out of his way needless to say, they generally sleep on my side of the bed!

I dont even have a cat bed for Mr Jinx, he loves to sleep in my bed with me, which is fine since I curl up with him like a teddy bear anyways. He loves it this way and who am I to say any different??? He is my little buddy and loves to be with me.

Limerick wouldn't get out of his bed when I got it. but now he doesn't use it.... So I gave it to my sister's cat. But he can always be found aat the foot of my bed every night.

Nope, she sleeps in the dog's bed.

I actually need to update my reply...

While Trent and Ophelia could never be bothered with the cat bed, Ginger loves it. Especially in the afternoon, she will curl up around the toys that are still in the bed (soft balls and such), and nap. But she does prefer to sleep in bed with me if I'm there.

To answer your question, note the nice cat bed on the floor and then note where the cat is sleeping. He could have went into another room and slept, but NO, he picked the spot closest to his bed to sleep just to spite me so that I could see him totally ignoring what he feels is the stupid bed I got for him.

Oh yeah they do...........but um........ wait..........can you call my own bed a cat bed...........um WELL YES, cos all 3 usually end up on it

Cat Bed? Do you mean the queen sized one in Mommy's room or the nice one in the living room by LazyBoy? Their other fav spots are whatever laundry basket has clean clothes . . .

They also like this wire basket that I had picked up to keep newspapers in, but I gave up that idea when I couldn't put papers in it because there was always a kitten. Just made a cushion for it and let them have it.

Those are great! I love Rosie, she always seems to have an expression of amusement and humour on her face
