Anyone know how to remove the white background in a jpg image using image ready or adobe cs? I may be dense but I can't figure it out from ready the help files!

In photoshop, Select > Colour Range > click on any white on your jpg > change the fuzziness to get desired cut areas > OK

or use the lasso tool or point to point to cut out the areas you want or do not want

If you switch over to Photoshop, you can also use the magic eraser tool. You'll have to adjust the settings, but it works well when you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the help! I found an easy way to do it in MS Word as well. I definitely need to take a class on photoshop. HP online classes has one every once in awhile but I keep missing it!
