Ahhhhh!!! My gift has arrived! Unfortunately it is at mu Mums house since I gave that address because I was moving house so I wont be able to get it until later in the week

I am so excited! My Mum has told me the name on the parcel but since Im not up to speed on surnames Im not sure

It only has a first initial too. It came from Canada! I have never received a parcel from canada!!!!!
Should I come to the dark side once I pick it up from my Mums????

I'm starting to get worried....My SS victim, errrrr, I mean, recipient hasn't posted about receiving anything yet.....Maybe it is just slow because of the holidays.

I'm so excited for everyone!! I can't wait to get mine!! Of course, even if it did arrive right now, I couldn't open it, b/c I'm in the same boat as Pombina. I gave my parent's address since I will be going home after finals (leaving this saturday), and didn't want the gift to arrive here after I'd already gone home. This is so much fun! (Even though some of my friends here at school think I'm a little crazy!)

Plus I kept thinking what if it melts

I really thought this morning that I was going to get lucky - I had a form from the PO telling me to go collect a parcel! But it was only some books I had ordered - useful for my course but not exciting. Never mind, maybe tomorrow? Or the next day? It will happen.

That's happened to me 3 times this week!! I've gotten 3 packages this week. No SS package

I've even got my kids excited and checking the mail for me everyday when they get home from school.

Mods (Karen) - maybe it's time to update the list of who's received and who hasn't. Maybe there's some folks hiding out there. Alot have come in since we posted the list last. That and I'd really like to see if my SS has received theirs yet ....that is of course if I've even mailed mine yet....

I may not even be able to wait to get it into the house by the time I get mine. My neighbors will be watching the crazy cat lady opening her package out on the front steps in 30 degree weather.
