To the above list, I would add Active Life - but good luck finding it, it is back in production.
I also am intrigued with Addiction cat foods, like Petguard rabbit and rice (all of these are canned).

I mentioned previously about Performatrin Ultra dry food and that our cats really love it and it is a pretty good quality. Tonight I was in PetValu and the owner was there (unusual). We were talking and I said I'd like to find a good quality wet food that was less expensive than Merrick's. He suggested I try the Performatrin Ultra wet food (new). He gave me a free can to try and Bijou LOVES it. (Mika is still unsure.)

i use purina kitten. is that okay for oscar? and sometimes he gets 9lives. Oh yeah and he begs for people food all the time. and we give it to him. I don't think that its good that we do that, but he won't go away. and he gives us kissess, and lets us pet him. we do it as a treat. and we also do it because he won't leaves us alone..

My cats eat EVO, though the kitties are eating cheap food for a few days (what the old home fed) so I can transition slowly.

What do we think about AvoDerm? It really seems to keep Tigger satisfied like no other wet food. (If we're talking about dry food, I apologize.)

Thanks Sharky. I appreciate your comments. Bijou really loves it. I've had trouble finding something a little less expensive than Merrick that they would eat and they turned their noses up at everything - Natural Balance, Nutro, Chicken Soup, Felidae, and about 6 others that are considered good quality so I was thrilled when Bijou gobbled this stuff up. I was please there were no by-products and grains. I've "pawed" through the food and it looks very meat chunk heavy so I was encouraged.

Linda, why not just alternate it with Merrick's? I've yet to find the "perfect" cat food, so I figure feeding several "very good" ones is probably preferable. That way, the kitties aren't as suspicious of new foods, and you don't have to worry as much about imbalances,
