Amoxicillian dose

My cat was put on a liquid Amoxicillin twice a day at 1.5 ml but the vet never said how long to give it for. It's the weekend so I can't ask him but there is still a bunch of amoxicillin left and he's already been taking it for about a week. Does anyone know how long it is usually administored? thanx

Usually the directions for amoxil (and any antibiotics) is "give until gone," which is usually about 7-14 days. I would continue to give it and call your vet on Monday.
