My cat Zen is so particular about the bathroom (besides when he plays bathroom monitor with any of us). I need to get a stool sample for the vets on Monday. It seems like he holds it till hes private and I can never catch him before he covers it up with litter. Doens anyone have an idea on how to get a sample? TIA!

I think it is OK if it has some litter on it. You might want to check with your vet

Most cat poop we test is covered in litter. And dog poo is covered in leaves and grass. Just make sure it's fresh - no more than 24 hours old - and kept refridgerated if it's going to be more than a few hours before you get it to the vet.
