My cat Simon use to eat dry food all the time. But now he seems to only want wet food. He shows no interest in the dry. We are trying to get a possible UTI problem under control, hoping it isn't a behavior problem. But I have never feed my cat only wet and am not sure how much he should have. I do have another cat and she eats the dry but also really likes the wet. They are both quite different in size. Simon is large over 16 lbs (he's been lossing recently which is what I want) and Sofie who is just under 8 lbs. The problem is that she eats faster than him so I have to keep my eye out for her. Because when she's done she will push her head over to eat his food. So I try and give the same amount and then take him to the bathroom to give him some more. Will he ever want dry food again? Could the medication he's on make him not like the dry food? I just want things to go back to the way they were. Where's a time machine when you really need one.

I am finding out through this site that it is best for cats. He really seems to like the Pro-Plan in the 3 oz. cans. For his weight, would one can be enough per day and free feed with the dry.
