Yeah, they are both new members so PM is not a great way for them to get in touch. Sarah doesn't even have enough posts to get PM's yet....

that this works out!

He's got to use her 'outside' address. Here's hoping she still wants the cat.

Please don't put the poor cat down if this does not work out. I am sure you can find someone else to take it if you ask in the right places.

I've asked in so many places now..........its like everything else. It's sad...I would never put down an animal unless it was the only, and I mean ONLY option I have left. I don't believe that I, or any other human is superior to animals, so putting an animal down will probably ruin me anyway. I'm trying...I really am.

The lady still hasn't called me yet, so I'm not sure when I'm going to have to go pick her up.

I'm praying things work out for this precious girl. I'm sorry you're feeling like you're out of options, but hang in there. Miracles do happen on TCS.

I'm sorry everyone. Looks like this is going to be the worst day of 2006 for me.

Were you able to get in touch with Sarah via e-mail? She said she was like 10 minutes from you, I would think that would be a great opportunity for you.

No....I never got her e-mail address. An admin e-mailed her on my behalf...but nothing yet. I ended up not taking her to get put to sleep....shes in an extra room in my house. She probably has 24 hours or less to stay here so I'm still not sure what to do.

She needs a tolerant owner. I did all that I could, but the allergies are killing me and I just can't do it anymore. She needs somoene who wont yell at her or get mad if she has a little accident. I love her so much...I hope I can figure something out at least.

I was the one that emailed Sarah on behalf of the OP. I supplied her with his email addresses and contact numbers. I have not recieved a reply from her and was hoping that I would wake this morning to some news (its friday morning here).

I am glad that you have put her up in an extra room in your home. Give us some time. As someone said - miracles can happen. Please dont surrender her to be PTS. poor darling. Wish I didnt live on the other side of the world.

I just sent you a PM. I'll follow up when I get home this evening. Please hold on OK? Have you tried the Munster Animal Hospital?

In retrospect, I think I need to clarify my last sentence. The Munster Animal Hospital will sometimes take in cats for adoption (I didn't mean for euthanization)! Sorry, I was trying to type too fast.

Yea...they pretty much told me that they really only take in kittens...and just aren't setup for taking cats in. I just got her back today...and I have bad news. She wasn't drinking any water, and she is constantly in the litter box. She will be in there for minutes at a time...just sits, not much comes out. Then she eats a bit...uses the litter box again....and lays down. Repeats the process. I got her to take a few licks of water by putting the water dome bowl that flows water so maybe she'll start drinking again. I'm probably going to take her to the vet in morning...although I'm not sure if I have the funds to foot the bill. Another crutch in her world....no one seems to want to keep a "special needs" cat. I would if I could, but I can't. Anyway, take care everyone.

There are people who WILL and DO take on special needs cats (although she isnt a special needs cat, just probably needs a vet check).... we are trying to help you here, dont give up on your girl.

Did you get in touch with Tiffany? Or with Jen?
