OK, I have a new idea for a game! I'll post a quote from a musical and all the other musical lovers out there (I know there have to be some on this board.) can try to identify them. Other people can jump in and post some too. I think this will be fun. Here's a few to get started.
1) "Pore Jud is daid. Pore Jud Frye is daid."
2) "Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men? It is the music of a people who will not be slaves again."
The next two are a little harder. You probably know the songs, but you may not know what shows they came from.
3) "We're in the money. We're in the money. We've got a lot of what it takes to get along."
4) "Square-cut or pear-shaped, these rocks don't lose their shape. Diamonds are a girl's best friend!" (This song is in Moulin Rouge, but I'm talking about the show that it appeared in first.)
If you guys have trouble guessing them, I'll give more clues later.
