6. Spring is here, why doesn't the moon excite me? Spring is here, why doesn't the night invited me? Maybe it's because nobody needs me...

7. I love you so much, I can't conceal it, I love you so much, it's a wonder you don't feel it....

I agree. I love Wicked and would've guessed it right away (I know all the words) but I wasn't online.

I've heard this quote in Avenue Q.

Here's one for you...

"There's a pigeon squashed on the street...Ew."

Yeah where have you been?
You started this crazy thread. Did you think it would get this kind of response?

Ok no one is guessing on my previous one so here's a new one.

"When I think of Tom, I think about a night" "All good things around us are sent from heaven above" "And yet , of course these baubles are appealing"

Ding Ding Ding!!

The song I remember most is "Colonel Jubilation T. Cornpone". Just found the DVD a couple of months ago. Gotta love Billie Hayes!

"When I think of Tom, I think about a night" - The King & I
"All good things around us are sent from heaven above" - Godspell (I was in it in High School. The musical of a lifetime!)
"And yet , of course these baubles are appealing" - don't know.

Yes and Yes- That third one is a little obscure.

Actually no, I didn't expect this response! I didn't know there were so many other musical lovers on here! It makes me really happy, though, that it's gotten such a terrific response.

You guys guessed all mine, so here's a couple more. I have no idea what number we're on anymore.

"I wore my coat of many colors."

"525,600 minutes. How do you measure, measure a year?"

"I'm lovely, absolutely lovely."

"Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, just you wait! You'll be sorry, but your tears'll be too late!"

"Come to my garden. Come, sweet child."

"Suddenly Seymor, he purified me. Suddenly Seymor showed me I can."

ckatz, since you're such a smarty-pants, here's one for you

"Boys'll be boys, lads'll be lads." --Here's a hint, it just came out, it's not on Bway yet. I'll give more clues later if you have trouble with it.

"I love you so much" is from Three Little Words, a movie musical starring Fred Astaire, Vera Ellen & Red Skelton, about the songwriters Harry Ruby & Bert Kalmar.

"Spring is Here" is from the movie musical Words & Music, about the songwriting partnership of Lorentz Hart & Richard Rodgers.
