I lost one of my fosters on Monday. Snoball came to me on her first day with two other siblings. Thier momma had died of a prolaped uterus. Snoball was doing well until about a week ago when she really had a hard time eating and breathing. After spending the weekend in the kitty hospital we discovered that she had a large tumor around her eosphogus (forgive my spelling) and she was just too small for surgery. My vet was doing everything she could but Snoball crossed over on her own Monday night.
Here she is with her best pal Shadow...

Who I think she adopted as her mother. HE didn't seem to mind.

Rest in peace little one

Snoball looked like such a little sweetie, and I'm sorry her time here on earth was so short.

Rest In Peace Snoball

Sad headbuts and teary, sorry licks from KittenKiya's Clan. Little Snoball, go find Diddo Kahli, she will love you and help you learn how to play on the Ranibow Bridge.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sometimes it is hard for people to understand just how much we love our fosters, and how bad it hurts to see one slip away, over the Rainbow bridge. They don't understand that just because we know we can't always give them a forever home, that our love for them is as great as the love for our forever pets. But I know how much you love Snoball, and how her passing hurts.

Rest in peace, tiny girl. I'm sorry your time on earth was cut short. But you knew real love and a warm home, and that is more than some kitties get. Now you are together with your Momma, in a warm safe place.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I comfort myself with knowing that her short time here was the best I could make it

I'm sorry for your sad loss.

Rest in peace Snoball - together now with your mother. Don't forget to look down on Shadow and all the humans who loved you in life.
