Knocking over water

Hi Everyone,

My 7 month old kitten is constantly knocking over his water bowl. No matter how much water I put in it (a little, or a lot), ultimately he starts playing with it and eventually it is all over the floor. This poses two problems - one being that my kitchen floor is constantly wet, and secondly he has no water.

Any help would be appreciated. The water bowl he has now is a small bowl with rubber on the bottom to keep it from moving (like that is working!! )

The water bowl I use has a weighted compartment on the bottom so this cannot happen. Also the base should be bigger than the top to prevent being knocked over.

My cat did the same thing. The only solution I found was to buy a water fountain, such as this one:

The water fountain also encourages them to drink more, helping to prevent dehydration.
