I wanted to thank everyone for their advice. I have called every vet & shelter in my town and only one had a cat that was missing that was the same color as our new friend. I meet the couple and it was not their cat. So I think our new friend is here to stay!
The kid's named him Pumpkin last night....which is very fitting for an orange cat on halloween!! I was going to take him into the Vet today but rearranged the appt. for tommorrow when they can neuter him as well. I figured we may as well do it all in one visit! So tommorrow morning Pumpkin will get all checked out, get his shots, be tested for leukemia & aids & get frontline applied and of course get neutered!! Have I forgotten anything? Any advice or suggestions for caring for him after having him neutered??
Also I'm going to go buy a cat carrier today so I can safely get him to and from the Vet. Any suggestions on these?
