id go with the california natural food-- It has the least ingredients by far and is probably the best of the choices you listed for an allergy problem. Least ingredients equals least allergens.
Good luck with it!

What is the allergy to? If you don't know and you're trying to start an elimination diet, I'd go with the California Natural. It will help unless the allergy is chicken.

Just as a note, if you're going to feed the Anergen, Wysong highly reccomends feeding their products in a rotation with other things. I feel this is especially true for the canine/feline formulas.

The vet *thinks* it's probably a fish allergy. Usually the symptoms clear up on their own (they're kind of seasonal), but this time, no such luck.

I do think I'm going to try the California Natural... that's what I was leaning towards before I posted.

Thanks!

If your vet suspects a fish allergy, best to avoid the Holistic Blend, I'd think. Good luck, allergies can be so frustrating

California Natural chicken and rice is excellent. They use flaxseed oil instead of fish. Your cat will have an amazing coat when eating this food.

It's reasonably priced, it has minimal ingredients, and it is palatable to the cat. The other brands are also good but my girl refused Felidae (actually tossing it onto the floor) and I think there were too many 'extras' in it for my taste.

Good luck!

I didn't even notice the salmon meal. Thanks!

I ordered two bags of California Natural this morning, and my white boy has a vet appointment on Saturday. I think he'll be getting a steroid shot to help with the symptoms.
