Woman fights City Hall with Meow Mix in dispute over feral cats

It's about a lady that feeds feral cats. She seems to try very hard to spay and neuter the population and she spends a lot of money caring for them.

It's a shame that she has to put such a fight against the local authorities as well

Yes, it is an unfortunate situation. Some people seem to think cats are very disposable. The city does not realize that that whole colony probably started with someone dumping their unwanted pets. I volunteer with a local oranization and see it every day. If the problem is just in the park, they need to get some local coverage and get the kittens placed before they are feral as well. If a new location is possible, then they should try and move them. The cats are much safer in a secluded location. I do not think the cats are the problem...it is the humans!!!!
