Some of you may have seen my post yesterday about my failed attempt to rescue this stray (http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho....php?t=103876). I want to go back today and start to feed her and hopefully catch her but I have 2 problems:
1) the Humane Society (about 100 feet from where I found her yesterday) said that they would feed/catch her, but I'm not sure if they will since it took my FI 3 times telling them there was a stray outside to get them to open the door yesterday (they were closed for vet day, but there were still a ton of people there)
2) she likes to come out in the open space but as soon as she sees a carrier or trap, she bolts so I don't know if I could drive up near her and grab her (hopefully more successfully and with long sleeves on) and put her in a carrier that's hidden in my car or if I should just bate a humane trap (which I'd have to get from the Humane Society) with food b/c I know she's very hungry.
Any advice? I was going to call today and tell them that if they catch her and she's not claimed then I'll foster her to resocialize her but I'm worried they'll just blow me off.
