AACK!! Fleas!!!!

I have not done a search yet, but I just needed to vent a bit.

All my critters are indoor/outdoor, always have been. I've never had trouble with fleas in the past, and I always attributed it to our harsh winters killing them off. Well, about two weeks ago I caught one on Cinnamon.

Yes, I know, I should have nipped it in the bud then, but I didn't, and now I've found two IN MY BED!!!!!! And since Cinnamon's not allowed on my bed (he's too fat to make the leap anyhow) they must've come from the kits! Add to that the fact that I've now found several dried tapeworm segments, (and one fresh one on Shadow's backside ) I think all are due for a vet visit I gotta just do it, because the more I think about it, the more depressed I get

You have my sympathies. I went through the same thing in August, when I was visiting my mom. The first week there, I washed all three dogs and the slipcovers, curtains, etc.. A short time later, all three were scratching, so it was baths again, then off to the vet's to get Frontline Plus for them and the cat, and another round of thoroughly vacuuming and washing everything!
