What are you handing out tonight?

I bought a variety pack of butterfingers, baby ruth, nestle chocolate, and crunch. I didn't buy any Reeses on purpose.
I did break into the bag last night though

Does my SS want the leftovers??

Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. That's it. If I had seen individuals of Glossette Raisins, we'd have had those, too. That's about all of the popular stuff that we don't mind eating up, and it's just about guaranteed that there will be leftovers -- we don't get that many kids.

I highly doubt we'll get any trick or treaters since we're kind of out in farm country.

But just in case we have some kit-kats and we had Reeses PB cups but I think they might be gone
<- that would be Chad by the way!

We also have left over candy canes for back up!

KitKats and Snickers. I think the trick or treaters are in for the night now (it's about 10:30 p.m. here), thank goodness, because I only have about 5 candy bars left, though I bought some little packs of cheese crackers for back-up, and for anybody allergic to chocolate.
We got a lot more kids than usual this year. Trick or treating is catching on, and the neighborhood kids know I have candy for them because I'm American. A lot of Germans still don't follow the custom. I swear the kids were passing on the addresses of the houses where they got "treats", because I didn't recognize a lot of them.
Jamie was thrilled with all the ghouls coming to the door. He sat in the kitchen window with big round eyes, and the occasional "Yow" comment. He usually doesn't like kids, strangers, or company, but something about Halloween fascinates him.

Nakita loves Halloween also! She goes upstairs and is fascinated by all the little people running around.
We usually get over 250 (
) kids each year and it all takes place between 7-9pm. We have to close our doors since we're usually out of candy by that point.

This year we're handing out Smarties, KitKat and House of Horrors Gummy Candy (they're in the shape of skulls, graves etc.).

Wow! We got about 60, which isn't at all bad in a country without a Halloween tradition, but more than 250?!!!!! Sixty is counting all the teenagers who were nice enough to escort their younger siblings, since I "forced" candy on them, too.

It's 10:00pm in Hawaii and the festivities have been over since 8:30. I ran out of candy at that point and turned off the light. There were about 150 kids this year. I gave out Nestle Crunch, Plain Nestle Fun Size, Butterfinger, Reeses Cups, Kit Kat and Hershey Fun Size. I only ate two pieces during the evening.
