Can you guys believe it's already been a year since I adopted my sweet, beautiful angel Claire?
It was last Halloween that I came into work and received the sad news that Claire's dad, a kind older priest, had unexpectedly passed away.
Because we'd agreed that I'd take Claire if anything happened to him, I rushed over to his house and by that afternoon Claire was hiding in the closet of my spare bedroom underneath a comforter. She was so traumatized!
Thanks to all for your support in the decision to keep Claire. It's been an absolute joy to gain her trust and watch her blossom over the past year. She's a beautiful cat, inside and out, and I feel so blessed to have her in my life.
I just love seeing her and Peter (her littermate) play and snuggle together.
