This is embarassing...

I just called someone and left a message (for something really important) and as I was about to give my phone number, I kind of froze and couldn't remember! Then I thought I did, left my "number" and hung up.

After that I really couldn't tell if the number I gave was the right one, so I actually looked up my own phone number in the phone book!!

Turns out that I did give the wrong phone number, so I had to call back.

LOL... Thats too funny. I've called people and forgotten who I called. One of my friends did the same thing you did. I had to check her number in my cell to see if it was right. Then once I had this phone number stuck in my head and couldn't for the life of me figure out who's number it was. My fiance finally tolds me it was my work number. D'oh!

Thats to funny. Once when I was giving my boss my new cell number. I said it and then she looked at me really weird. I asked her what was wrong. I GAVE HER HER OWN NUMBER!!!!!!!

haha!!!

I live alone and since I don't phone myself I'm always forgetting my phone number. Unfortunately my number is unlisted and when I forget or I have to look it up on a bill, or call a friend if I'm out or tell the place that I'll have to call them with the number after I get home. lol

That's the same reason why I keep forgetting my number. I don't call myself very often

Good thing I'm listed and easy to find in the phone book

Yes, been there, done that. I've started to give my number, which is usually automatic, then had to stop and think "what is my number"? When it happens I ususlly transpose two digits. Weird feeling.
