Lots of vibes needed going around today!

Stumpy's been acting a little strange lately. She never throws up, but she threw up last night and again this morning. She's been incredibly annoying - keeps jumping up on the kitchen benches and dining room table where she knows she's not allowed, so usually stays away.

When she's awake, she acts really unsettled and keeps jumping onto places where she gets in trouble (and therefore attention
), then when she settles down, she's sleeping in weird places. Like right now, she's curled up in the cat carrier I just brought Smudge home in, whereas last time I tried to put Stumpy in the carrier for the vets she clawed my arm!

I can't explain what's wrong with her, or if anything actually is "wrong" with her, but she's not being her normal self and it's worrying me

She's also constantly been jumping up the walls lately. She just leaps right up then and grabs onto them and leaps off again.

I was thinking maybe the cooler weather is causing her pain after she broke her pelvis 5 months ago, but she wouldn't be leaping around like a crazy cat if she was in pain you'd think...

Good vibes for you guys! Do keep an eye on her, though - with cats weird behaviour can be a sign of illness/under the weatherness/stress.

Aw, poor little Stumpy!

It could be that the break is bothering her, and when she jumps it's when there's a sharp pain (like the ones I'm getting in my ankle - and I didn't even break that! Just a severe sprain). She doesn't understand what's causing it and is therefore trying to get away from it maybe?
I wouldn't rule out the weather bothering her pelvis, though.

Hmmm...if she's getting in the carrier, maybe it's her way of telling you she needs to be seen?

"Feel better" vibes going out to Stumpy!!!

Is it possible that she could be reacting to the El Nino that is coming your way? I know this sounds weird, but any weather changes we have here the boys go a bit off their rockers (more than they usually are). Kitties are very sensitive to any kind of weather or pressure change.

Vibes for you Stumpy Girl... she is in my heart tonight.

Vibes for little Stumpy. I really don't have any advice. Just these experiences:

Much has arthritis which has been getting worse. She has this tendency to just burst into a run, jumping off the bed and running down the hall, then starts licking her back. I think it might be painful for her so she just tries to make it as quick as possible.

Lucy just jumps up the wall. Not sure what she's doing other than being silly.

Carly who had a trauma before we got her has a mended leg and tail that just hangs there. She will jump bizarrely when she is playing - almost straight up.

There's an El Nino coming our way????

She's seemed a little better tonight. I got her a new toy today. She loves really soft things, she loves to carry things in her mouth, and she loves catnip, so I found a big soft refillable catnip mousey, and she had heaps of fun playing with that.

She even sat on my lap for a little bit just before (which is out of the ordinary for her), and she slept on our bed last night cuddled up to Lily and Smudge (also out of the ordinary for her, and making the bed even smaller...).

She's about a year old now and was never claimed by her owner, so the first few 6 months of her life (from about this time through to July when we fostered/adopted her), she was living out on the cold streets. Maybe she associates cold with bad memories??? Who knows...

She's certainly getting lots of extra cuddles.

More good vibes for Stumpy. Maybe she is just going through a "phase". I hope it's nothing serious. Regarding her going into the carrier- I often find Eric sleeping in it. I keep the carrier out and open in one of the bedrooms to desensitize them to it.
