What became of that really-neat "paws island" pretend-place for kids? It was excellent! Now it seems to have been removed from The Cat Site. Why? And where is it now?

Well... I'm glad someone is taking notice of the banner ads
That's all it was - it was never a part of this site. I can have it back on - it's just that it had low click through rates and didn't make me any money at all. I can get it up for you if you want (doesn't really matter - as none of the ads are making me any money
)

So, if it can't be in the banner, can't it at least have some front-page space? It's surely worth it, I would think; at least as much as Emazing (if you know what I mean).
I don't think advertisers have a clue what they're pushing, anyway. It's all this "click through" mania, with no view as to the worth of what's being "clicked through" to. I've only "clicked through" to one advert on the inter-net: the one that was here and is now gone.
Who are the people who "click through" inter-net banner or pop-up ads anyway? I surely don't, nor can I imagine ever doing so, because they're all so tacky. I pay good money for inter-net access and I'm interested in information, not hype.
It's unfair for advertisers to want more than the exposure banner placement gives them. I suppose those same advertisers would want people to pull over to the side of the highway and "click through" the billboards! Greed, greed, greed!

It'll be there for the next 2 months or so, and them I will be looking for a paying sponsor to put there.

Anne, thank you so much for putting Paw Island back on the map! Check it out. I think you'll like it, too. Would that there was some way to get kids dialed into Paw Island.
