Just to show you all that Ferris doesn't completely ignore me, he does like to come up on my bed when Ginger does, and he'll allow me the honor of giving him scritches, as long as I don't try to pick him up.

Here are my babies, with the focus on Ferris, as Ginger was doing her best to ignore him and attempt to take a nap.

Here's Ferris, sprawling out on the covers, posing for me. He really is a terrible ham!

Not the best photo, but this one shows that when he's in the mood, he's quite the little cuddle-bug (that big scary pink blurry thing on the left is my hand, lol) :

Looking seductive, lol:

This is the first time - ever - that Ginger's allowed him to get this close without smacking him on the head, or her getting up and leaving. He had been slowly creeping closer and closer and closer to her...I think I was holding my breath as I took this photo!

Oh my sleepy darlings...I'm so in love with both of you...
Don't you know how you've touched my heart, each of you?

Sounds a lot like my Suzy, and that being the case, you may need to get used to the fact that he just doesn't want to be held. Sooz tolerates it now (she's 7), only because I only pick her up for good reason, and she has come to know that. She doesn't have to like it, but being the pragmatist that she is, she doesn't fight it, as long as I stay within those bounds. She's certainly good for serious scritches, though, when she's in the mood.

It's also interesting to note the relationship between your uncuddly one and your tortie -- also very like Sooz and my tortie, Cindy. They aren't the best of friends, and Sooz would have us believe that Cindy is the bane of her existence.

Aren't they just amazing? don't you love to watch the interactions?

And lest I forget -- lovely, lovely babies!!
Sweet pics.

Actually, my torbie is the uncuddly one, she wants NOTHING to do with being held or cuddled - Ferris not only spent 20 full minutes in my lap purring last night while I petted and scritched him, he fell asleep in my lap for the very first time!!!

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I told you so! I told you so!!!
I'm so glad they're getting along!!! Ferris is SUCH a handsome devil! Giving us those sexy green bedroom eyes!!!
And LuckyGirl still does not like to be picked up. She will tolerate it, as in she has never bit or growled, but she will meow at you with an attitude like "put me down!!!"
She is much happier to be loved up when she's on the back of the couch. And the only time she hops onto my lap is when I'm on the potty!!!
