It sounds like he's marking territory - Feliway should help. Otherwise there are sprays that will help keep him away.

Is he neutered? If he isn't, then now would be a good time to do it otherwise he will spray on everything!

Definately neuter him first off if it isn't done. If he isn't neutered then you can't blame him for marking because that is how it goes.

If he is then please have him looked at for a UTI, he may have one. That is a Urinary Tract Infection.

Also but some Feliway.

Mark, how old is Leo? If he has already been neutered (I'm assuming by your reply that he hasn't, though), he may very well have a urinary tract infection. In any case, the first thing to do is to get Leo checked out by a vet, to rule out any infection, and/or to make an appointment to have him neutered. An unneutered cat will spray to mark territory, and the only way to stop him is to have him neutered, i.e., castrated.

Most male kittens are castrated by 6 months at the latest. He's sexually mature, and you don't want the marking to become habitual, so see to neutering him ASAP. Not only will it ruin furniture, but it stinks to high heavens.

i'd have him casterated but because he's sexually mature & may have already started spraying to mark his territory he may well carry on doing it after he's been castrated, most cats done but some do. also clean your bathroom with lemon, lemon is a natural cleaning agent, it smells nice & brings things up really clean & cats hate the smell of citrus.
