Oh man I feel awful...but...

So, I told my friend that I would help her brother move today..and he is kind of my friend too..

She kept telling me there are plenty of people helping, but I can if I want to help...

So if figured I would do all my stuff I had to do today and then call him to see if he still needs any help..

BUT, It is all rainy and miserable here and the last thing I want to do is help someone move..and I'm tired and its so cold out.

Am I an awful person If I don't call and just say I felt sick all day?!

I think if they have plenty of people then get doen what you need done, but i would not tell them you are sick if you are not might come up later in the day that they really need you and you might just have to go later on.

If there are enough people to help them, then just call and let them know that you aren't feeling well and won't be able to make it today. Maybe offer to help them decorate or unpack later on in the week though if you think they may need help

If they have people, then I would call them and say you're not feeling well and that you may be in the way if there's alot of people already

Well I just called to see if they need any more help..lol he laughed at me and said "your calling at 5:45pm to see if we need help?"...Um, now I feel like an idiot!!

But anyway, I said I had lots of things to do today..and so I coulnd't make it earlier....then he said "you sound like you just got up"..and I'm like.."yah I just had nap".. Oooops, I guess he knows now I wasn't that busy!
