Question About Neutering

I have a weird question, but thought I'd ask you guys before checking with the vet.

Twinkie was neutered almost two months ago and everything has seemed to go pretty well. I was holding him today, and the thought crossed my mind to just check and see if everything looked okay.

I was suprised to see that his scrotum still looks a little bruised and feels hard to the touch. Is this normal?

I don't think so. Usually the scrotum is soft, and I've never noticed "bruising".
What color is Twinkie "back there"? I don't think we've ever had a male cat with a light-colored scrotum, so any discoloration wouldn't have been noticeable. If I were you, I'd have him checked out by the/a vet.

That does not sound right with me. Is he hurting, or does he pull away from you? There is no discharge?
