Will they refund my money??

So, today I have to return 2 things...one to Best Buy and one to Zellers..and even though I haven't used the items..they have those really annoying hard to open plastics wrapping which I ripped apart to open the item..

All the pieces are there and the items (a phone, and a shaver) haven't been used..

Do you think they will accept them back even though the packaging is all ripped up? I have the receipts.

i would think they would best to just call ahead before going out and returning though and just ask them if they would do a return on them and just explain what happened i am sure they would I know at the little shop i use to work at we took back open items as long as they had the receipts.

Yes they will.
If they try not to, start yelling (not too loud).
Get the manager. Put up a big stink.

I do that & they always give me what I want just to shut me up. LOL

I brought back a keyboard (years ago) to curcuit city & I had it for almost 1 year. It would buzz sometimes & so we brought it back with the reciept.
At first they said they couldn't, but I put up a stink & they gave me the next best one up from that model, because the one I had they no longer sold. (gee, I wonder why? lol)

Yes, most places do! And if they say no, just ask againa dn again, and shopw them that your loud!

One time at at icecream place, they refused to give my sister a cup of water, and thats totally wrong, so my sister wrote a leeter, adn got like a million free-icecream slips! Maybe you could try that if they won't listen!

Yes, they should. I used to work in retail and we received all kinds of stuff back for refunds or exchanges... and many were torn up packaging. Not many people spend an hour trying to open a package without damaging the box.

They should. I have to go to Marks Work Warehouse and try to return a pair of pajama pants that I have already worn but they ripped. I wore them to bed twice (just bought them Thursday) and today I woke up and theres a huge rip down the side of them. It happened to me 2 weeks ago with a pair of pajama pants from Wal Mart too, except they ripped the first time I washed them.

Well, I went and they refunded both for me

Now, I just got my gas paid for from returning that phone!!!

Yea! I'm glad they accepted the returns
