My kitten makes some really funny sounds. I've yet to hear a normal sounding meow out of him, instead he gives out this little chirp. It almost sounds like when you chirp your tires in a stick car.

Also, I've noticed his front paws are pretty webbed (never seen webbed toes in a cat before). What the deuce?

All cats have a different vocabulary. I have usually heard chirps when the cat is watching birds or something tasty outside...

Some cats do chirp instead of meow, Abyssinians do (unless they're on heat). Sometimes they let out a silent meow. It's just the nature of the cat, nothing to worry about, I'm pretty sure.

As for the webbed feet...hmmm, can't help you there - have you asked the vet?

My girl gave me her first silent meow last night; and she chirps and trills all the time. No Abby or Siamese blood in her that I can see, but the loud WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH sounds do sound like a Siamese. Maybe Gizmo should have been named "Lucille Ball".
