I could use some advice. Tammy-Timmy is back from her spay. They sent her home with a body stocking, which she is currently trying to eat off. I am concerned about bowel obstruction.

The vet tech said to leave the body stocking on for 10 days. Obviously she does NOT have any cats. I would prefer to remove the stocking rather than have the possibility of bowel trouble.

Any advice, ideas, vodka, tequila, bourbon, whisky, NO Gin would be gratefully accepted.

Oh, Janet...
I'm sure the local liquor store loves you by now.

I wish I had a solution for you. Didn't someone suggest putting her in an e-collar?

Yep, but the first time I tried that, she bit me. I can't afford to lose too much vodka like that.

I would, and just keep an eye on her that she doesn't start to eat her stitches, that might be worse than eating the stocking!

Well, she ate one side off and Pete held the other side down so that her back legs could come out of the stocking. I really wanted to see how far she would go, but I was afraid that she would choke herself, so it cut it off this morning.

When I left, she was madly licking every part of her body except the shaved area and the stiches. I wonder if she was allergic to the stocking, that it was making her itch.

Well, it is almost time to go home. I can't wait to see if I still have a Tammy-Timmy left, or if she has licked herself right out of existance.

This is going to be an interesting weekend. I have ordered the vaccines for everyone and should have them by next week.

They all want to crawl into my bedroom and sleep on the covers, so I think tonight I will open the bedroom door and let eveyone in to sleep all together. Tomorrow is Saturday and I don't care if I ever get up tomorrow.
