A cat rescue asked if I would stop by their next Intake Clinic. What is an intake clinic?

It may be that the rescue sets up particuliar times/dates when they will take in cats/kittens. It sounds hopeful...so I would contact Prettyboy and see if she can meet you to take the cats/kitttens to the intake day.

This is exactly what I got in the email.
"We do take in stray friendly cats but we have a waiting list.
You have to come to our next intake clinic."
Why would I go if they cant take the cats in though, I dont understand? Is it like a seminar on caring for feral cats, because that's not exactly my situaion here...

They probably want to talk to you about the cats...find out more about them since they have a waiting list. I would still go and talk to them...perhaps they can at least help you with finding a clinic to spay/neuter the adults for free.
