What do you do with the nubbies sticking out of your sweater?

I'm sitting here with scizzors trying to cut them off, but they drive me nuts! I'd call them little balls, but you guys would have too much fun with that! Is there anything you can do to prevent them?

Hey - my couch has that!! They're pills (or at least that's what I've always known them as).

Anyhoo, there use to be a Pill-Buster out there on the market. A little machine that would shave off all those pills for you. I haven't been able to find it yet though...I'm going to check eBay...

Actually, I think it's the Lillian Vernon catalog, but there is a "fuzz" razor made just for taking off the little fuzzballs on sweaters and blankets!

Oh I need to mention it works GREAT on cat hair wow really great

You can hold the area in question tightly and shave it with a razor (I would use Jerry's for instance!!)

I grab my father's electric razor and use the trimmer part

When my little nubbies start sticking out of my sweater, I think it's too cold! Time for a thicker sweater!

I find a good length of sticky tape wound around the fingers of one hand, sticky side showing is great for getting the nubbies off. Just rub it down the garden and it works fine. The razor does too, just don't cut the fabric.
