My screening appointment

Left home at 9 to drive up to SLC for a 10:30 am appt. just got home @ 4pm.

Read and filled out paperwork.
Saw their shrink, I am now officially diagnosed as having Major Depressive Disorder.
Read and filled out more paperwork.
Did a teleconference interview with another shrink for another psych eval.
Read and filled out more paperwork.
Peed in a cup, let the vampires draw my blood, got an EKG and a physical exam.
Had saliva collection explained to me and was given a saliva collection kit.
Set up appointment for next Tuesday.

I made it into the reseearch group and my drugs start next week.

The study is 3-4 months long and they will be providing me further treatment for 3 months beyond that, as well as referals.
Starting next week, I also get paid $50 for each visit.

I'm finally getting help, and getting paid for it.

Wow, what a day you must have had..

It was much worse, I had to fast for this appt.
Nothing but water from 11pm on, no morning coffee!
Had to hit KFC on the way home for food and caffeine.

I was getting pretty cranky up in there by the time it was done.
