a Monkey's wedding?

It's raining at the moment but also the most beautiful sunshine is out too! As a South African we've always said its a monkeys wedding when this happens... the Afrikaans say "Jakkelstrou" (The jakkels marry!). I've Googled it and it just says something about two impossiblities happening at the same time!

Do you guys in other parts of the world say something similar?

Me either! I've heard "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle" but I don't really know what that means either

Haven't heard of these phrases before. I like the sound of a monkey's wedding though! That's gotta be more fun than a barrelful of them!
