if a cat gets spayed at 7 months? I figure that since she hasn't had kittens hopefully the surgery will not change her behaviour because right now she is so sweet.
I don't want for it to happen when I had my oldest cat spayed. She did have 3 sets of kittens. After surgery she has become more aggresive, always fighting with her kids.
Thanks.

Im not sure why your other cat became aggressive after spaying. Generally cats will become a lot more calmer after a spay because they dont have all those hormones running wildly. How old is your kitten? Is there any way for you to have her spayed before 7 months? That will help, too.

She was aggressive because there were suddenly a bunch of other cats encroaching on her territory, nothing to do with spaying. Cats will defend their space (even to their own kittens) no matter what, and the spaying was incidental to that.
