So, does anyone celebrate Sweetest's Day? I know a lot of people think it's just another Hallmark Holiday, but I was raised celebrating it and will probably always do so. I like it.
I made Nick a "better than sex" cake that he was mentioning about a month ago and I got him a card, in which I cut out and pasted a bunch of little pictures and icons and comments off our myspace pages, since that's where we met. Kind of like a little timeline of the last 2 months. It turned out really cute.
He looked confused when I told him there was something in the fridge for him, and then when he opened the card he immediately said "Sweetest's Day is next Saturday, hon." I was like "No, it's today!" His co-workers evidently told him it was next week...lol...
He looked like he felt really bad and I wasn't expecting anything anyway and he also said he'd make it up to me, so I couldn't be mad...lol

I worked for Hallmark....so I sort of celebrated it! Durring DH's deployments I used every single holiday, even some of thoes goofy type ones, as a reason to give him a card. We don't do that all the time, but we did celebrate Sweetest Day back when I was still working for Hallmark. It was hard to forget holidays back then! Any reason to give him a card I guess! Once I got the mini-stick up kind. It was posted on a box at eye level when he was laying in bed and he didn't see it till he was going to bed the next evening!
