Ok so we went to Radio Shack to exchange my new keyboard and mouse that crapped out on me, then to the library. Just as I think we're heading home I get duped into going to my MIL's!
I am dead serious when I say this, I HATE this woman! So we get there to help her do some work on her house.. Apparently her evil ways have taken a toll on her and she can't do the stuff herself anymore...We ended up being there 7 HOURS!

During these 7 hours I am told that my son's a brat, her computer is better then mine (It has windows 98 and a pentium 120. HELLO!) anyways, that I have too many animals (at least I don't try to posion neighborhood cats) and that I've put on weight (I've lost 15lbs in 2 months
) I finally got fed up with it and on the way to Lowes I tell DH everything she's said. He was
by this time. I mean, he tries to help her out because she isn't in the best of health but she's manipulative, mean, and flat out ornery!
I have forbiden this woman from coming to my house.. I actually told her if she ever comes over, I will call the cops on her. Well, when we came back he told her we were leaving and then she tries to be nice to me but it ends in an argument between her and I
about her sacred crappy computer she DEMANDS me to fix. I stormed out w/Deacon and went to the truck. Right about that time a customer calls me about a check she's sending me. Her and I chatting for a few mins when the in-law from hell comes running out telling me that I lied to DH about everything and that because of me he's no longer and alcoholic and doesn't depend on her and she NEEDS him and he IS going to move back. By this time I had already rushed the customer off the phone and DH is walking out the door and comments on her remark of him coming to live with her. "Over my dead body"... she looks him dead in the face and says "THAT can be arranged....for BOTH of you".... I had enough! I told DH her better pack up his tools and leave with us, or he's walking home! I was DONE!
He did...
Is it bad of me to say I can't wait till this woman is dead?!

Ok, I'm off my
now... Just had to get it off my chest

I remember your earlier posts on how obnoxious this woman can be. I don't see how you can ever be civil to her.

She sounds scary!!! Is it possible that she's Bi-Polar? My ex and ex-MIL was and this sounds pretty close to home. There is no reasoning with a person like that. Keep your distance and good luck!!!!

I'd say Bi-polar or a paranoid skitzo.I wouldn't go back around her either.I'm glad your DH stood up to her.So many times, men will bow over and kiss their Mom's butt to keep the peace.
To bad Deacon was there though.

Yup...sounds psycho for sure. If she comes around your house and causes trouble maybe you can have her put on a 96 hr hold...for everyones safety. It must be tough for your hubby, too. Putting up with a nutty Mom and making sure his family is safe from her. Hugs to you, your hubby, and kids! Be safe!!!!!

There was a time in the past that he didn't stand up to her. Back when he was drinking and he would run to her house to get smashed. She loved it too because anything that goes against my wishes, she was happy to help with. Now that DH is sober, he has seen how she is.
There were a couple times when DH and I were separated (due to the drinking) and he was living at her house..he had called me to see how the boy were. He hung up and went to take a shower. She called me while he was in the shower and rubbed it into my face that he was with her now and I'd never talk to him again. Then told me that he wasn't allowed to call me from her phone anymore. He had to wait until after she went to work to call me and then she started taking to phone to work with her so he had to call from his work cell. And the day we had decided we were going to try it again (after 3 months of rehab) we went over to her house to get his stuff.. OMG what a HUGE blow out! She threatened me in ways that you hear and see in horror movies!

Yikes! What a B...../ I'm sorry you had such a rough day! I would be really annoyed and angry with her too! She had no right to make those comments to you whatsoever! Especially in the prescence of her grandchild! Obviouly she wasn't thinking! She sounds to me as if (and no offense) , she has some sort of mental problem illness going on and should be evaluated by a specialist. (I say this because we've been studying mental illnesses in my Psych class recently). I'm sorry she is causing you soo much grief. I would not allow her in my house eithor if she acts like that- especially not around my children or animals! And if anything, any normal mom would be glad that their husband has a good wife who has helped him recover from alcoholism and loves him! Your hubby is lucky to have you
/ Don't worry over what she says sweetie- she sounds like she's not all there
. I would just try to avoid her completly. She definitely owes you as well as your entire family an appology for her inappropriate behavior!

Is he the baby by any chance?
Shawn is and when we first got together,he'd run home to Mommy after any little thing. It took him and I sitting down and REALLY talking,to get past that. Now, she calls me to see how he is doing!!!
I have problems with her going behind my back and asking him stuff.Like Christmas before last, she waited until I was in the bathroom to ask Shawn if she could have the kids for Christmas!! That meant,Shawn would be at work and I would be all alone.NO WAY!!!She got mad when I told Shawn the kids were NOT going over there without me.So, we stayed home.
She was suppose to watch my 4 kids when I went in to have my Hysterectomy. But, she wouldn't at the last minute.Shawn had to take off work for that.Plus, I drove to Michigan and got my Mom 2 weeks before my surgury so she'd help afterwards.
My MIL is as useless as teets on a boar hog.

Worse! He's the ONLY child! Which makes it worse. She's single (wonder why) and no one in her family wants ANYTHING to do with her... AT ALL! She still calls her ex husband (Reggie's dad) her husband and they've been divorced 17 years! and she will call him for advice.. It's sad when you think about it sometimes because she's lonely but then I know her personally and know WHY the wench is alone! One day a few months ago I had to take her to pick up her POS car at the shop. She had to go to Deacon's daycare with us to pick him up first. Well she had her door open on the truck and when someone tried to pull in (who happened to be a good friend of mine from high school) she flicked her off and cussed her out in front of ALL the daycare kids. Next thing I know my friends in the classroom with me asking "Alycia, whos the loon in your truck?"
I was mad as

what she is doing is very wrong but I agree that it sounds like a mental illness and she SHOULD be checked. It sounds like a Skitzophrenic problem, or as someone else said Bi Polar, and maybe mixed in with Manic episodes. I have a friend whom befor they found her right medication acted alot like that..

This woman thinks nothing is wrong with her and would refuse to go to a Dr. Afterall, she knows EVERYTHING and frankly, I don't care enough to try to convince her to go to a dr..
