Haha! I knew my girls had been mooching more than usual lately!
The other day I stopped by my house a bit to drop off kitty food and litter (It was aweful, because I can't pet or hold any of my animals b/c of the ringworm
...so I couldn't stay long and after I left, I had my mom spray down everything just to be on the safe side.) Anyways, while I was there, I had just finished taking some pictures of Jasmine....and walked into the hallway to show them to my mom....that's when I cought her!
....I didn't say anything, I just sneaked up on them and took a picture! I cought Abilene's grandmeowmy giving her the whipped cream off of her pie and Abilene happily eating away!
....now my mom cannot deny why my kitties aren't loosing weight on their new diet! lol.....ahh....but what good is a grandkitty if you can't spoil her I suppose?

Without a doubt!!!
My mom is soooo sweet with animal- I definitely inherieted my love of animals from her
....she's been awesome lately too! She's been watching my furbabies (my four kitties, rabbit, and dog) since I have ringworm and it's not going away. So since i'm stuck at Colin's (not in a bad way, but I just miss my animals and being able to hold and love them!!!) with Kenzie until we're both over our ringworm- she has happily and very generously agreed to take care of my fur babies until I can come back home and handle them without giving them ringworm. I still come over to the house just about every day to check on them- but I try not to get on the furniture or handle them at all to reduce the odds of giving them ringworm. I bought my mom a HUGE can of tek trol to spray down the house after everytime I leave to help reduce exposure as well. I REALLY miss my furbabies though!! I've never been away from them this long, so i'm going crazy!!! I always cuddle with them, groom and play with them- I spend a ton of time with my animals, so it stinks to be away from them...but at least I know it's for a good reason. I'm definitely fortunate to have such a great mom who doens't mind taking care of them for me
Those are her babies too
Especially Abilene- Abilene is sooooo attached to my mom, as is my wolf mix Ginger...so we already decided jointly that whenever I get married, my mom will keep Abilene and Ginger.....both girls, and my mom would be devistated if they were ever seperated. I would never do that. / So I will take Velvet, Isabella, Jasmine, and Sophie (bunny) with me, and she will adopt those two.
Those girls definitely love their grandmaw- hehe, they know who gives them the treats when mommy isn't looking

Aww, thankyou! I love her coat too! And her eyes- I really love her belly- but trying to pet her fur is another issue
- I value my hands
(She is gorgeous, but she is a feral kitty, so even though i've had her since she was only a few days old, she still acts very wild at times- especially if you try to touch her
)

Any ideas as to when you can go back home?I would imagine how hard and sad it is for you to not be able to hold your babies!!

Well, I asked my dermatologist and two vets about this - and explained the ringworm and animal thing to them. All 3 were agreed that I can go home when the ringworm is gone
...Which is not going so well....So far i've tried OTC stuff, Mentax cream- that seems to be working the best out of everything, but takes forever! And i've also tried a oral medication in a pill form this week which was an antifungal- I had a horrible allergic reaction from it and wound up getting Thrush in my mouth
....luckily though, I cought the symptoms just in time and immediately called my dermatologist and told him what was going on- he told me to stop taking the pill for the ringworm, and he ordered me a mouthwash for the thrush. You gargle it and then swallow it- it's an antifungal as well. Well, the mouth wash is working wonders and the Thrush is almost completly gone! Yea!!
....but the ringworm on the other hand isn't! My spots are starting to look better...but i still have quite a few on my arms and legs. So hopefully those will clear up soon and I can get back home. But until then, I can't afford for ALL of my furbabies at home to get it- that would be a nightmare to treat! Also, my mom had surgery back in June....so any kind of fungal infection could really make her sick- which is another reason i'm not gonna risk it. Thankfully though I have a very wonderful and loving boyfriend...who doesn't mind be staying with him till i'm better. He got ringworm from me when I didn't realize I had it...and Kenzie has it still (if you look at her recent pictures...on her tail, you can still see bald spots)...Fosters had a tiny spot, but it's all cleared up
/ So what i've been doing is keeping Colin's house immaculant, vaccuming with a new bag daily, spraying down the house regurally, and making sure everyone has their medicine....that's about all I can do for now. I miss my furbabies though!!

Hopefully it will clear up soon!!! I know you enjoy staying with Colin and Fosters, but can't wait to get back with your other babies too.
I can't imagine treating all those babies for ringworm. That would be a nightmare for sure!!!

Where my cats are
LOL! Once when I went away my mother was feeding my girls each a can of wet plus leaving out heaping bowl fulls of dry! Twice a day! Now my girls barely finish a small can between them of wet...I wonder how much she had to throw away! She doesn't even feed her cats like that! Oh and this was when they were still kittens! They love when she comes to watch them. She brings toys and stuff and always announces herself as 'Grammys here!!!!!' I love my Mom!
