THEN and NOW.......

Thought this might be a fun thread. Hope we haven't had one of these yet (or at least in a while). Was going through my pics and couldn't believe how much my little ones have changed since the day I first brought them home. It's absolutely amazing how much these kits change over time - coloring, size, even the amazing changes of the strays that have been found dirty and sick and now are healthy and happy.
Peanut:Biggest change with her is the little brown stripe she had on her head is now almost gone.

Snickers:Biggest change with Snickers has to be her belly (and size!). It use to be so tiny and pink - now it's huge!!!! and so furry!!! She has the snuggliest belly ever!

Zoey:Zoey's biggest change - other than her size - her attitude. She use to be sweet.

Pebbles:Pebbles has changed the most - her fur is much much darker, her tail is now dark brown, her paws and face color have changed completely, her eyes are darker blue (can't see it in these photos though), and her fur has gotten almost curly and long.

Ivory now: She's huge and darker now and she always looks serious

Well, she was 11 months old when we got her, but typical of all pointed cats, she has changed a bit.

Wow! That's a big difference. I know they typically get darker, but she's gotten really dark! Beautiful!

She is a moggie of course, but she most resembles a Tonkinese: Compact, muscular, aqua eyes and her coat.
If she were a tonk she'd be a Natural mink.
Mink is a combination of burmese (solid color) and pointed.
She is as soft as, and shines like silk.
A pointed coat would still get much darker in the case of seal, but would still be mostly a saddle back, with some slight darkening of the cream colored areas.

This is my little Scooter Bug. He had a rough start...later found he has a liver shunt.

When I first got him he couldn't walk or even hold his head up.


Improving but still can't walk.

Scooter Now..a spoiled brat but the apple of my eye.

Here's Anya when we got her at 6 weeks:

Kallie hasn't really changed much attitude wise but she is bigger but still makes the same faces.

I'm a little sad- I don't have pictures of a lot of my furbabies when they were little (I didn't have a digital camera until recently.) Also, I adopted some of my animals as adults- so I don't have their kitten pictures. Here are some pictures of some of my furbabies that I do have

Wow, Smudge's then and now pictures do look similar to Kenzie's! Both of our foster babies were sooo sick when we first started fostering them- now just look how great the look and how much they've grown!!!! Awww! Our babies are getting soo big!
