....and morning!!

Last night we were watching TV when it suddenly sounded like someone was throwing a wheelie bin around our garden! We muted the TV and went to the window to have a look.

There didn't seem to be anything there, so I nipped upstairs to find Molly looking out of the window over the garden shouting and telling me what had happened!

I noticed that the grassy fence cover and my bamboo fence cover were hanging off the fence - very strange!

After deciding that it was nothing we went back to watching the programme.

This morning, the doorbell goes! I know I haven't ordered anything and it was too early for the postman (who rings the bell then flaps the letterbox) I peer through the spy hole and see that there is nobody there, but a bike lying on the floor by my drive! I hear my nextdoor neighbour's letterbox go and see a guy pick up the bike and start off.

I checked where they were going and they're off down the street to the main road.

Again, deciding that it was odd, but nothing special, I go and sit back down in the lounge to drink my coffee. Next thing I know, Molly is crouching and shouting again (in the kitchen) and there is a guy dangling from my fence that links to next door!!

Off he goes into next door - it must have been the same person as yesterday as they used the same route over my fences!

The Police have been over and checked everything out - even having to climb over the rickety fence to take a closer look!

What excitement to start the day?!
Molly is such a good crime fighter!
If only I knew how to speak cat!

Yes, Molly is such a Super Crime Fighter! I might even have to put her 'walkies cape' on her to show her status!

I'm sure he is just a bit of a chancer - the other month, my neighbour over the road caught a lad - with a similar description - trying to break into her nextdoor neighbour's house!

Susan, I was talking to my Mum about that! I will like it, but I know I'll miss all the excitement of here!

I love it here!

It does keep things exciting!

Oh yes, I'm so pleased that Molly was there! I don't know what I would have done without her!
(the Tibby and Willow just ran upstairs to hide and Annie just stared!
So much for my brave strong boys!

Diana, he was more than likely a chancer as he had no tools to get through the French Doors! (plus, from the look of our doors, a crow bar doesn't do much more than damage the plastic!
)

Meir and Molly should get together to fight the city crime!

Funny thing is, I reckon they've been in before as my cat statue (thingy) was lying on the floor the other day and doesn't even fall in gale force winds! Plus, I just noticed that more of the wall is falling down!
Another job to add to the list: dismantle the damaged parts of the wall!

Molly is a fierce Watch Kitty.

Whoever that was, could be dangerous because of shear stupidity.
Please error on the side of caution.
Be careful.

Oh I certainly will be careful, Lei!
With all that's being going on here lately, I'll have my eyes wide open - that's if Molly doesn't see it all before me!

I have just finished removing all loose bricks so we won't get an unexpected 'brick through window' event! (I hope my LL will understand my reasoning behind dismantling their wall!
)

We'll have to see if they have another go tonight!

I'll also be popping around to see my neighbours and give them a heads up, when they return from work.

There is definitely nothing missing!
If he wanted to do me a favour, he could have taken the old wet, mouldy sofa that's out there though!

I doubt he was a peeping tom! It's not the kind of thing that happens around here - more likely he's was trying his luck, you never know when you'll find an open door!

We were notified by the Police recently that there was a lot of theft from houses happening - where people would leave valuables on show and have them snatched through a smashed window!

It's a main issue with living in a row of terraced houses - they come in through the end garden (ours in this case) and go garden to garden trying their luck!

Sarah? You didn't have any knickers on the line did you ?
Let me know what he thinks!

You know, I was thinking that!
The day that we think he may have been in (when we didn't notice) my whirly gig had fallen over which displayed all my 'smalls'
Maybe I should do a knicker count to check that none have gone missing!
