I took a fair amount of "fall" photos in my yard. For some unknown reason I did not download to computer before I had printed. And of course I have deleted these two photos. If I go to say Walgreens or comparable place and have them scanned and reprinted (in a larger size) how will the quality of the photo be as compared to the orginal? I can't believe I deleted them and kept alot of other ones that should have been deleted!!

my mum had some 4x6's printed from the photos at 8x10 and if you were close you could see some pixelation type quality problems but they looked ok on the wall.

It depends on the place too - some have better scanners than others so if you are worried ask for some proofs or examples of their work

I'm going from 4 x6 to 5 x7. I was thinking of taking these two pics to a photo shop instead of a drugstore/discount store unless I try it at 4x6 again. My SIL wants these to frame on her wall.
