Changing color patterns????

I was wandering through my photo albums and noticed something that actually seemed a tad freaky when I first looked at it.

This is a 2001 photo of Diva Etcetera....



And this is one from about a month ago....notice how the white is progressing up her face? I didn't know that things like that could happen. 8O

Interesting...I think it has something to do with the white spotting gene...check it out in Google. I know that white cats with black spots on their heads often lose that black spot - because of the white spot spreading.

Yes, I've noticed Chloe's markings have changed some over time - particularly as she was growing and especially noticeable on her face.

That's REALLY interesting. Definitely a topic I'll be doing more reading on. As always though, Diva Etcetera is gorgeous.

I've never seen that before, or at least never noticed it on any of my cats. That's quite interesting.

And I agree, she's a beautiful kitty
It looks like she's got a "widow's peak" happening there with the increased white
