Well, guys, it's official. My sweet, crazy little guys are up for adoption.
So far, all I've done is list them on Petfinder. I'm not in too big of a rush to find them homes since Monty's still a little skittish, but he's at least moved on from the Kleenex box to allowing me to pet him in other places.

I'll start really pushing to get them adopted in another week or two, so please send lots of "find a wonderful home" vibes/prayers for Mickey and Monty.

I love the description that you wrote for Monty & Mickey.
I am sending maximum vibes that there is someone with a big heart, who reads it and immediately falls in love with these two adorable boys.

It is a shame but understandable why the woman with the elderly kitty decided that the time was not right to bring 2 crazy kittens into her life.
Calming thoughts are on the way for her and her precious kitty.

I have everything crossed Eileen that they find a wonderful furreverhome soon! Come on you guys, let's adopt them out to one of our wonderful TCS members!!! I don't want to lose touch with these little angels...as an added incentive, I'll send you some nuts if you adopt them!! Oh, and perhaps some toys for the kits!!

I checked email first thing this morning and already had an inquiry from Petfinder about adopting Mickey and Monty! I'm sort of surprised somebody responded so quickly, but than again, who could resist these little guys. So, I emailed her back with my version of an adoption application and will wait for her to respond. Please keep those vibes coming!

I think one of my requirements for prospective adopters will be that they have to agree to join TCS so we can get regular updates and photos on Mickey and Monty!

Well, things are happening fast. The lady that inquired about my crazy babies has already been back in contact and is coming to meet Mickey and Monty this afternoon. She's getting ready to go out of town for a few days, so won't be ready for them until late next week, which is good because it will give me the time to adjust to letting them go.

Anyway, we'll see how things go this afternoon, but it sounds like a wonderful home. She had a 17-year-old female cat who passed away last year and currently has a 12-year-old female. In her email back to me she said, "I hope you'll find it in your heart to allow me to give these adorable little boys a home." How sweet is that? I was up front with her and told her that Monty is going to need some time and patience to adjust to a new home and she was fine with that. Another good sign!

I forgot when I called her, but will when she comes. I'll make her sign a contract!

Mickey and Monty have been adopted!!!

They'll be going to their forever home next weekend, so their new meowmy and her roommate have time to get everything ready for their adorable new additions. This is going to a wonderful, patient, loving home for my crazy little guys!

I told their meowmy about TCS and she promised to check it out, so hopefully we can get updates on how the little guys are doing.

Thanks to all of you for all the vibes and support over the past few weeks. Thanks from Mickey and Monty too, of course!

After they go home, I've still one more female in the neighborhood to trap and get fixed, so please keep sending those vibes.

Hello everyone,

I want to introduce myself, I am adopting Eilcon's two rescued boys and will take custody next weekend. Just wanted to let you all know that I definitely will keep you posted on their progress as often as I can. It is nice to meet all of you and look forward to getting to know you in the future.
