Hi guys, I found this site yesterday when I was looking for some information about fleas my kitty (Chazz)has never had fleas until this year (he will be 8 this month). I went Petco and purchased some Advantage flea drops. I hope it works. I can't stand to see him so uncomfortable. I feed 2 strays outside and he likes to go on the porch and check them out, so I think he got the fleas from them. Anywho, I just wanted to say hello to my fellow cat lovers.

Welcome to the site! I'm glad you found what you were looking for.

Just being paranoid :paranoid3 but I hope that the flea product you purchased at Petco wasn't a Hartz product? There have been some horrible things happen to cats because of that particular product - even death! Here is a thread that tells what *can* happen with use of this product.

I can tell by your post that you love Chazz very much, so I wanted to be sure to warn you about this product.

thanks for the info valanhb, it's manufactured by Bayer, but I may have gotten some Hartz products a couple of weeks ago. I'm gonna check to make sure when I get home
